Weird Nike Sq Driver
The Nike folks, who gain kudos by having Tiger Woods inextricably linked to their kit, know cool when they see it. So if you want a driver that's straight from the fridge, this is the one. And it works too.
Though SQ is not new and can be found even among discount golf equipment, it still secures a very special look, with a grey/yellow paint combination and the fact that it's almost as long from front to back as it is from heel to toe – but if it didn't also work extremely well, the Sasquatch would have quickly disappeared.
The SQ, as it is commonly referred too, already has a PGA Tour win and has been seen in the hands of many Nike staffers including Tiger Woods and Michelle Wie. But not everyone is loving this driver and comments have varied widely amongst golfers. Some even complain about it's price, but I suggest you to choose one in the shops of discount golf equipment.
The SasQuatch Geometry as they call it basically means that this driver looks weird. Nike has completely gone away from the traditional, pear shape of the Ignite drivers. Contrary to most new drivers on the market, the SQ has a very shallow face. It also has a very wide breadth, meaning it is very long from the face to the back of the driver.
The SQ driver was great. This was the easiest hitting driver to hit. Just about every drive was either straight or with a slight fade. I compared this with their Ignite with the NV shaft and the shot dispersion was tigher with the SQ. The mishits was not that bad, the club barely twisted in my hands if not at all. After all that I order one and can't wait for it to come in.
If you are in the market for a new driver try this one you will not be disappointed. And if you want a cheap one, you may go to online golf shops for it among disount golf equipment. The ball launch on this is like a rocket. High and long. Can't wait to try it with a premium ball.
