During the later part of the 20th century, mini golf courses were designed like theme parks with windmills, fun characters, and hilly colorful landscapes to attract people to come and play. And so started the craze for putt-putt golf.
The term “putt-putt golf” was coined after the golf putter which is used to hit the golf ball into the hole. The sport of golf requires a number of clubs and drivers throughout the game, whereas <a href="http://www.horwathgolf.com">Mini Golf</a> only requires a putter to play. The idea of the game is to hit the ball into the hole with the least amount of strokes as possible. Skilled players can get the ball into the hole with just one stroke which is referred to as a “hole-in-one.” The distance between the ball and the hole, the angle of the turf, the placement of the hole are all aspects to consider while playing mini-golf. Many serious golfers come to practice at miniature golf courses to improve their putting skills.
